Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering (preferably Fire Protection), Architecture, or related field, ideally working towards becoming a Chartered engineer.
12+ years of experience in Building Code and Fire Protection Consulting within a consultancy environment
Registered Professional Engineer (PE), preferably in Fire Protection Engineering or other professional designation in Fire Protection, is highly desirable (such as NICET Level IV in any of the Fire Protection certifications).
Working experience in the Middle East region, developing building code concepts and equivalencies, conducting building plan reviews, and conducting field reviews/inspections.
Experience with project management or specific responsibilities for any portion of large complex projects is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to present clear and technically sound fire protection engineering strategies and able to undertake work independently
