We’re looking for a hard-working Maintenance Assistant to join our growing team. This position will be responsible to help with whatever basic repair and maintenance tasks require attention. For example, replacing lightbulbs, fixing electrical problems, cleaning and remodelling community spaces, and resolve issues with a positive solution.

Post Holder Requirements
The successful candidate will hold:
Proven experience as a Handyman/Maintenance person – minimum 2 years’ experience
Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment
Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing or HVAC systems desirable
Carpentry Skills for basic repairs
Understanding of Health and Safety standards
Good communication ability, with strong interpersonal skills
Team player – works well as a member of a group
Well-organized and apt in problem solving
Attention to detail
High school diploma or equivalent is high preferred
Maintain a positive attitude
